ERCE Attending: Energy Group – Tectonic Stress: from the lithosphere to the wellbore

10/04/2024

This May (21-22), the Energy Group are hosting a conference on ‘Tectonic Stress: from the lithosphere to the wellbore’ at Burlington House, London and online. ERCE’s Structural Geologists will be in attendance to stay up to date with the latest research and modelling techniques.

The conference will focus on understanding tectonic stresses, strain and how this is important to energy industries. Integration of tectonics is fundamentally important at all scales of and across all aspects of the value chain – from early exploration and through development and production, as well as long-term subsurface containment.

More information on the conference can be found here and you can register to attend this event in person or virtually here.

Please reach out to ERCE’s Principal Structural Geologist Dr Tina Lohr for more information on our structural geology services including how we can incorporate tectonic stress and strain data into the evaluation of your assets. We have extensive global experience in:

  • Seismic Interpretation & Regional Basin Analysis
  • Structural Reconstruction & Modelling
  • Fault Analysis & Fault Seal Evaluation
  • Interpretation QC & Validation
