Kato Energy plan to develop the Amulet oil field and redevelop the abandoned Talisman oil field concurrently using relocatable facilities known as the ‘honeybee production system’.
Project:
Optimising timing of Talisman start-up to ensure production remains within facility constraints
Outcome:
ERCE reviewed Eclipse Dynamic model for Amulet and converted to tNavigator format to speed-up run times prior to modifying history matches and benchmarking recoveries.
Benefit
ERCE conducted a full range of Design of Experiments (over 200 simulation runs) for Amulet to assess key subsurface uncertainties, including aquifer strength and size and decision for timing of water injection after field start-up.
