ERCE conducted SEGY data manipulation and loading of hundreds of 2D seismic surveys from multiple vintages into a single seismic interpretation project.

The client was in possession of hundreds of vintage 2D seismic surveys that were in different file formats. ERCE was asked to sort out the data and build a seismic interpretation project in Kingdom Suite, ready for interpretation.
Project:
ERCE organised and manipulated the seismic data, so it was able to be loaded into a Kingdom Project in the correct location and orientation. Most of the data had incomplete or absent information which required semi-automated or even manual data handing and loading. Over 95% of the data could be loaded successfully into a Kingdom Project and were quality controlled for consistency.
Outcome:
Nearly 14,000 km of 2D seismic data successfully loaded.
