Industrial developers are exploring options to incorporate renewable energy into projects, to support national Net Zero strategies.
Need:
An E&P client wanted to know what the emissions improvement could be from incorporating solar power into a development.
Project:
ERCE was engaged to evaluate baseline emissions and then to study how that baseline could be changed through installation of dedicated solar panels. We then completed economic analysis and scenario modelling using various carbon pricing to understand NPV affects of the project.
Outcome:
Results were used as part of a larger emissions study to identify decarbonization projects to execute.
