In the journey to Net Zero, corporations are encouraged to make every effort to reduce their emissions to as low a value as economically possible.
Need:
An E&P client has a high emissions field, onshore Middle East.
Project:
ERCE were engaged to conduct engineering studies to evaluate decarbonisation options that would not hinder hydrocarbon production rates. We investigated options including energy efficiency, electrification and CCS. We then prepared emissions forecast, capex and opex for the options and evaluated the impact on NPV using an internal carbon price.
Outcome:
Operator will select decarbonisation options based on our analysis.
