Completing an Independent Audit of a CCS project to the SMRS standard.
In 2022 the SPE Storage Resource Management System (SRMS) application guidelines were released. The framework is an opportunity for CCS operators to communicate the state of their project to stakeholders.
Need:
A storage license operator wanted to commission a 3rd party evaluation of their project.
Project:
ERCE were engaged to conduct the external evaluation to the SMRS standard. As per the standard, topics such as containment, risk, storage volumes and uncertainty were incorporated into our analysis.
Outcome:
We completed and delivered one of the first SMRS reports in Europe. Our report is being used to engage with stakeholders across the value chain.
